Hanna has danced all of her life in Oregon. Growing up, her life revolved around performing, dancing, and cheerleading. At the age of 5 years old, Hanna started intense training in ballet, jazz, gymnastics, and hip hop.
Once Hanna reached middle school, she decided to pursue cheerleading. She trained with All-Star and competitive cheerleading teams such as West Coast Extreme and Varsity Youth Cheerleading. Then, her freshman year of high school, Hanna auditioned for her award winning high school cheerleading squad. She was selected as one of the only two freshman girls to make the competitive varsity cheer team.
Hanna started intensive studio training again when she was 14 years old, to prepare for her dream college’s Pom Squad audition. She trained and competed in a variety of genres including jazz, acrobatics, hip hop, contemporary, modern, lyrical, ballet, and African dance.
One of Hanna’s biggest dreams in life was to be an Oregon State University Cheerleading and Dance team member, and in 2013 she made that dream a reality. For two of those years, she was one of the four dancers to be selected as a travel squad member. She traveled all over Oregon, California, Texas, Indiana, Washington, and Nevada. In 2016 Hanna had the opportunity to represent Oregon State at Pro Action Dance in Las Vegas, Nevada. At the 2017 PAC-12 tournament Hanna was selected to be the PAC-12 Representative for Oregon State. During her senior year of college, her coaches and her teammates selected Hanna to serve as the Oregon State Cheer and Dance team captain. She was named “Dancer of the Game” for several games throughout her years on the team for being fun to watch, always performing full out, having a positive attitude, being a great leader, and performer. One of Hanna’s favorite parts of being on the team was working with the young girls and boys during dance camps and the youth cheerleading programs.
In college, Hanna was recognized by the Oregon State Senator, Mark Hass, for remaining on the honor roll her entire duration at Oregon State University. She graduated Cum Laude with a Degree in New Media Communication and a minor in Speech Communication.
After graduating in 2017, Hanna packed up all of her belongings and moved more than 2,000 miles away from home, to pursue her dancing and cheerleading dreams in Dallas, Texas!
Hanna is a current Allen Americans Ice Angel.
