Meredith continued combining her education with her love for dance during college. She began teaching at Power House her freshman year and truly found her love of choreography and teaching dancers through her position during college as pre-professional assistant company director. At SMU she trained extensively in ballet and contemporary and choreographed for and danced in Meadows School of the Arts Brown Bag dance series. Meredith was a Hunt Scholar at SMU and served as president of Chi Omega sorority. While in college she had the opportunity to study abroad in Paris, France. In other college honors, Meredith was the featured dancer in the 2013 and 2014 editions of SMU Dallas “Think Big” Magazine. In 2014, she was selected to appear in a national Chi Omega publication. Meredith graduated Cum Laude from SMU with a major in marketing and a minor in dance.
After graduation, Meredith moved to Los Angeles to dance. She was selected to dance at Disneyland, entertaining crowds of up to 50,000 people a day. While in LA she also trained to be a certified barre instructor, and enjoys being able to fuse her passions of fitness, active living, and dance. Some of her other favorite performances include dancing for the Mary Kay Show in Dallas, performing alongside the Blackeyed Peas on stage for the 2011 Superbowl, performing at Six Flags over Texas, Walt Disney World in Orlando, and Dallas Mavericks games.
Meredith loves sharing her passion for dance with students of all ages.
