Raegan Schmotzer

Originally from South Carolina, Raegan’s love and passion for dance has resided her to Dallas, Texas! Growing up in small town South Carolina, Raegan trained under her mother’s dance studio, Dizzy Dancin. While growing up dancing competitively, she has competed in numerous national championships including Las Vegas, Nevada; she has also won numerous scholarships and overall awards. Her studies of dance include tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, lyrical, and contemporary.

Raegan had the opportunity to model for La Merle dance costumes and Glamour costumes. She has also appeared in Dance Spirit and Dance Teacher magazines. With her love and dedication to dance, she spent her last two years of high school traveling to train at one of the top 50 ranked dance studios in the nation, The Southern Strutt. She had the opportunity to work under top choreographers such as Sonya Tayeh, Mia Michaels, Mandy Moore, Terry Schulke, Nick Bass, Bobby Newberry, and many more. Upon graduation, Raegan attended Lander University where she was a part of their dance team and competed and won the Cheer LTD National Championship in 2012. It was then Raegan moved to Texas and spent two seasons dancing and performing for the Mavericks affiliate team, the Texas Legends and two seasons dancing for the Dallas Mavericks.


Currently, Raegan is honored to be apart for the ECHL Allen American Ice Angels serving as a rookie. Raegan is excited to share her passion for dance with her students at Powerhouse!
