Following high school, Kristin attended Texas State University where she got her BFA degree in Dance Performance and Choreography. While she was at Texas State, she was on Orchesis Dance Company for three years, serving as Financial Director her sophomore year and Artistic Director her junior year. Her senior year she was a proud member of Merge Dance Company, the touring/performing ensemble at Texas State, hand-picked by the faculty.
